I replaced the corroded relay with a modern one and rewired the relay and pump using new connectors. I will mount the relay so that any leaking water or battery acid lands on the plastic parts, not on the connections. The pump is more difficult to mount, as it doesn't fit the mounting bracket well. It had been mounted with zip ties, which might be the best that can be done.
