Engine Removal Truck
I made this to give the engine a bit more stability as I lowered it. Many people just use a garage jack, but that scared me, as there's little to prevent the engine from tilting either to the side or front/rear. It was not a simple thing to build. After designing it, I had to cut the steel, machine the ends, clean them, and weld everything together. I had to make 20 steel bushings for the joints and wheels (the ones for the wheels are threaded), so the joints would support the engine's weight. Finally, I had to weld it all together, properly jigged for straightness, grind the welds smooth, and paint it. It took a couple of weeks of my spare time.
