Shift Rods Installed

The shift rods have been installed and the fork positions adjusted. This adjustment step is critical: if it's not done right, a slider can rub on a synchro band and rapidly wear out both. The black fixture on the left is essential for this step. First gear was not installed at this point, as I was waiting for synchro parts. The main-shaft nut and pinion-shaft bolt are installed and tightened, however, as these are necessary to get the fork adjustment correct.
