The seat bottom is connected to the back by only two screws, so it can be removed easily. Althougjh it's not clear in this picture, the seat is starting to collapse. It looks and feels bad, so I want to renew it. These seats were reupholstered perhaps 15 years ago in a nice leather material. They do not have precisely the original shape, so I don't think that standard replacement pads will work. I'll have to make my own padding from upholstery foam pieces.
