I bought some 5 mm plywood and cut out a piece that matched the missing one. I then glued it in place with white glue. It should be strong enough, but if necessary, I'll add some reinforcement. I also used some material from the removed piece to replace a missing layer of the other tab. When the glue is dry, I'll trim it with a sharp knife.
