Outlet Installed

Here it's been welded. Getting it into the right position required a lot of test fitting. Since I was welding to fairly thin metal, I used 0.023" wire and a "connect the dots" procedure. This is done by depositing a series of metal dots, each overlapping the previous one before it cools. These precautions reduce the chance of burning though the thin exhaust pipe. Unlike the connector, the outlet pipe does not have to be leak free, so I could be a little more casual with this joint.
