Wheel Alignment
I align the wheels with a pair of tape measures after hanging a pair of plumb bobs over the tires. This is fine for getting them parallel, but they must also be parallel to the axis of the car. The first step is to set my alignment bar perpendicular to the car's longitudinal axis by aligning it with well defined points on both sides of the body. Then I use a square to get a line that is parallel to the axis, I align one wheel so it is parallel to that line, and the second wheel parallel to the first. I didn't photograph the alignment process, but it is shown in my web album from my first attempt to replace the bushings.
