The bushings are glued to the spring plates with cyanoacrylate glue, AKA "Superglue." Although the bushings originally were not bonded to the plates, Porsche later bonded them, as it reduced the wear on the bushings. These replacement ones are bonded similarly. I was a little concerned about this, primarily because the glue cures very quickly (about 30 seconds) and I worried that I might not be able to install the bushing completely before it started to set. In fact, there was nothing to worry about; although the bushing is a tight fit when dry, the glue lubricates the bushing, and it slides on easily.
